Holiday Inn & Suites Arden - Asheville Airport by IHG

I pretty much travel all the time for my job. I stay in a lot of Holiday Inns. Generally, I'm pretty happy with my stays. Getting a great bed AND a great shower AMD a great room/hotel is not always easy. There's usually one of those elements missing. The Holiday Inn in Arden had it all! Wonderful restaurant with delicious food. The bed was soft! So comfortable. I slept so well. The shower was like standing under a waterfall. Awesome! So great at the end of a very hard day. The staff was friendly and courteous. None of the facility was under construction and so not available. The only thing I would ask for that I do get to enjoy at other Holiday Inns, is to have decaf coffee available in the evening. But I wouldn't remove a mark from this hotel. Best one I've been in all year.

Its 12Am. I dont have a place to sleep. Its my first time in asheville and im by myself. Natalie from front desk who works night shift was my first person to person interaction in asheville and she was so sweet and kind and gentle. I havent even spent the night yet but my check in experience with Natalie was so welcoming that im writing this before i sleep. The room is also clean from the bathroom to the linens. No visible stains. If any leadership is reading this, natalie deserves some jamaican snacks!! Shes homesick :(

Location is right off interstate, a little tricky to get on and off the secondary road. Most everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Requested a upper floor room near the elevator. Got a top floor room, but way down the hall. I ordered a breakfast wrap and fruit for breakfast, both were good. The room was clean and the bed was very firm but slept well.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I prefer to stay at Holiday Inns when I travel due to their reputation of quality. The hotel is clean, modern, and updated. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of Dove bath products in the bathroom, which we liked. At one point we ran low on the body wash, but it was quickly replenished. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful and is located close to lots of restaurants. We stayed in room 419 and the only issue we had was with the shower. When trying to shower, most of the water continues to flow out of the faucet instead of the shower head and the tub drain will not stay open, so the bathtub quickly fills up with water while showering. There is a small indoor pool and an exercise room, which my husband used two mornings. The staff were not very friendly or outgoing at check-in; very serious and business-like, no smiles or "enjoy your stay", etc., which wasn't very welcoming. (Hospitality industry, right?) Throughout our stay (3 days) there wasn't a time that the staff acknowledged us as we passed through the lobby whenever leaving the hotel or when returning. (It's a small lobby and we had to walk right past the front desk.) We did receive a phone call to our room from the front desk soon after we arrived, checking to make sure everything in our room was satisfactory. That was a nice gesture and very appreciated. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Very friendly front desk. Really nice room with great modern decor. Clean. Has a restaurant and a bar that is open fairly late. Nice location.

Very nice hotel, clean, good location. Shuffle to airport available. Restaurant and bar inside hotel open during evening and certain times. Very convenient. Does serve breakfast for a fee, would stay again while visiting Asheville. Very comfortable beds

Great location near the airport for a quick stay, the manager yesterday and today was awesome, super helpful and friendly, even called for a courtesy to make sure the room was satisfactory. Definitely would stay again, the walls are thin so it is slightly loud at times but not too bad honestly. Had s comfortable bed and hot water that lasted a while.

I’ve stayed in a lot of mid-tier hotels, and I wish they were all as nice as this one. The hotel and room were impeccably clean, the staff was kind, and our special request was handled perfectly and discreetly. We were especially impressed that a few minutes after we got to our room, we got a call from the front desk asking if there were any issues (there weren’t). Thank you to the staff who were working on Friday 10/24!
